Aaron Rodriguez - Managing Director and Chief Business Optimizer
With 13 years of strategic finance, financial management and data analysis experience and 10 years of management and executive experience with start-ups, non-profits and Fortune 500 Companies, Aaron applies a pragmatic, systems-thinking approach to working with people and addressing challenges, no matter the industry. He uses strong data analysis and synthesis to form realistic and measurable goals, and empowers clients to understand and act from data patterns and trends. Through sound financial planning, Aaron builds a viable road map to stay on course and achieve lasting change. An expert at building organizational capacity and developing leadership, Aaron brings a strong passion for collaboration, critical thinking and community partnerships to assist clients in solving challenges and overcoming uncertainties, with a proven track record of strong results.
Lauren Rodriguez - Director of Branding & Community Engagement
Lauren brings over a decade of development, marketing, and grant-writing experience to ACRBC, where she leads all things “marketing and outreach” for small businesses and nonprofits. Throughout her career, Lauren has built and managed development departments, stewarded partner relationships, designed, planned and executed successful marketing and fundraising campaigns and events, and raised over $5 million for the organizations with whom she has worked. Having served as development manager and director, as well as lead grant writer at several nonprofits since 2005, Lauren also ran her own successful grant-writing and development consulting business from 2009-2014, working in many fields including the arts, local food systems, and education.
Lauren brings a strong passion for helping clients identify and strengthen their brands through strategic marketing, partnerships, and public relations, increase awareness and support, inspire, motivate and grow their clients and donors, and ultimately increase their revenue through new and existing avenues.
Nick Gillon, Ph.D. - Research, Policy and Education Consultant
Nick works at the intersection of research, policy, and practice to connect problems and solutions. He has been an educator for students of all ages for 15 years, a renowned teacher trainer, and a creator of educational models and special learner-centered programming, particularly in the field of outdoor education. On any project, he approaches problems as opportunities to learn. With a strong academic and applied background in academic research and policy analysis, he brings critical insight to identify problems and collaborative solutions. Working from extensive experience in program design and management, he applies evidenced-based practice in all services.
In addition to teaching at the University of Washington’s College of Education, Nick works as a research consultant on projects that bring innovation and insight to complex problems.
